OLD-Teen Volunteer Trip

This summer, we hosted our inaugural student volunteer trip to Tanzania. Four high school students committed to raising their own funds for the trip and SAFE Water Now and experiencing a global adventure while assisting our factory. Their trip included:

•   Working on 3 building priorities for the factory (drying racks, storage shed, kiln)
•   Assisting with filter distribution to orphanages
•   Documenting their adventure and providing feedback for future volunteer trips
•   Pushing their physical limits by climbing Mt Meru and going on safari in their free time.

They had a amazing experience!!!  Here is what they had to say:

“I wanted to inform you of the utter impact this trip to Tanzania has made on me. I am so moved by everything I saw, all the warmhearted and welcoming people I met, and all the important and life changing work that we did every single day.”

“The whole trip was perfect, in my opinion. I don’t think I would change a day of it if I could.”
